Hi guys!
Hope you're all ok.
Well seeing as it's such a beautiful day, I thought I'd sit outside in the sunshine and do my nail of the day. Here's a view of my new flower bed that we (by "we", I mean my husband and father in law!!) built yesterday, I love it so much!!
I've been loving nude/beige nails recently and fell in love when I spotted this Essie nail varnish in Brooch the Subject. It's really really nude and has a subtle sheen to it - my new fave!!
I picked it up in TK Maxx along with this Essie Ridge Filling Base Coat, Nail Foundation. I've heard good things about this from the online beauty world so when I spotted the set for £7.99 I snapped them up! I'll let you know what I think about this 'nail foundation' when I've given it a goof test drive!
What's your favourite summer nail colour? Have you tried this Nail Foundation?
Lotsa love

Review: Collection 2000 Dazzle Me Pigments
Hi everyone!
Hope you're all well.
I've been collecting the Collection 2000 Dazzle Me Pigments for quite some time now and have got 11 of the colours so I thought I'd share them with you.
As there are so many, I've swatched them so will give a brief description of each one.
From the top...
1. Mystery.
This is a deep grey with blue tones to it. Really dark and pretty and perfect for a glittery smokey eye!
2. Sugarplum.
This is one of my favourites. At first I thought it was a baby pink but when you apply it, it's has a beautiful goldy shimmer to it which is really surprising, but it's absolutely gorgeous.
3. Bedazzle.
A beautiful shimmery gold colour, really girly and pretty.
4. Tinkerbell.
A shimmery bright green. Not one of my favourites and it tends to stain the skin, but still very very pretty.
5. Spellbound.
A matte blue colour. This was a bit of a surprise actually as it doesn't seem to have a shimmer in it and I thought that was the point of the dazzle me's??? Could be wrong. Again, not one of my favourites and this one also tends to stain the skin.
Again, from the top...
1. Enigma.
Similar to Mystery but has a green undertone not blue. Absolutely stunning, and one of my favourites.
2. Lustrous.
A really pretty gold colour, it's more of a true gold than Bedazzle which is quite yellowy, this one is a deeper colour. Beautiful.
3. Angel.
This is a shimmery grey with a blue undertone. Really nice when used as part of a grey smokey look and beautiful on its own as well.
4. Jaffa.
A bright shimmery orange colour. As with Tinkerbell and Spellbound, this is very bright and is not one of my favourites. And... you guessed it... it stains the skin.. not much fun to try and get off!!
5. Inky.
A beautiful shimmery dark grey colour. I love this one so much and it's the one I use the most. Just stunning.
6. Paradise.
A shimmery orangey colour with a golden undertone. Much more gentle than Jaffa and a lot more wearable. I like to add this on top of my eyeshadow to add a bit of sparkle.
So there you have it, that's my collection of Dazzle Me's. Hope you enjoyed this post.
What's your favourite pigment?

EOTD
Hi everyone,
So today I thought I'd do something a little different and do my Eye of the Day. I'm wearing quite a natural eye today with no eyeliner as I'm quite tired so don't want to close my eyes up. Here's what I'm wearing:
All over lid: Urban Decay Primer Potion
Lid: Vie Time Proof Cream Eyeshadow in Taupe
Crease: Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Buck (from Naked Pallet)
Browbone and inner corner of eye: Mac Eyeshadow in Nylon
Under eye, inner corner: MUA Chocolate Box - lightest colour
Under eye, outer corner: MUA Chocolate Box - medium colour
Mascara: Collection 2000 Skyscraper mascara in Black.
I know I've only used it under my eye today, but I am loving the MUA Chocolate Box, I have done my complete eye using only this little magical pallet, it's fabulous. I think I may do my next EOTD using this product and do a review on it as well for you.
What is your favourite eye shadow combo?
Hope you enjoyed this post - see you next time!

Olympics 2012!
Hi everyone!
Hope you're all ok.
So as some of you will know, yesterday I went down to London to watch the Women's Freestyle Wrestling at the Olympics!! I was so so so excited when we got tickets, I just think it's a once in a lifetime opportunity to be a part of something so amazing, it was just brilliant.
Anyway, the Wrestling was held at the ExCeL so we headed there and had a wander around and had a look at everything. It was mainly food places but there was an Olympic shop so I picked up a t-shirt and a golden Wenlock stuffed toy! Anyway, so we then headed into the arena to wait for the Wrestling to start. They had big screens on with someone explaining about the different types of wrestling and the basic rules and moves etc which was good as I didn't know a thing about it!
Here's a couple of pictures..
And a video...
And then the wrestling started! It was pretty brutal and unfortunately the GB lady got knocked out in the qualifying round. The crowd went absolutely mental when she came out and it was such an amazing atmosphere, you couldn't help but get swept away by it. I was so disappointed when she lost as she did really well, I felt so bad for her. We watched about 20 different wrestling matches in all which was brilliant!
So after the wrestling we decided to take the tube to Hyde Park as the London Live event was happening there. We were really lucky as there wasn't a queue when we arrived so we just walked straight in. They had a main stage where Dr Fox was interviewing some of team GB and there were some bands playing. And then there were about four big screens playing the Olympic events that were taking place so we sat and watched some more wrestling. Then we had an ice-cream, had a wander around and decided we'd better set off back home.
All in all it was a fantastic day and I'm so glad we were a part of it. In hindsight I do wish we'd stayed maybe another night to enjoy more of the festivities, but never mind!
Have you managed to snag some Olympic tickets? If so, I'd love to hear about your Olympic experience.

Haul: Poundland!!
Hi everyone,
Hope you're all well,
So today, I popped into town and as I'd heard that Stila has made an appearance at Poundland, I thought I'd check it out and lo and behold...!!
I've looked up both of the Stila products I got on the Stila website and they're still currently available to buy, so they're not old stock or anything. The saving is just massive!
Here's what I got...
Stila Hair Refresher - RRP $28
I picked up this hair refresher which is basically a dry shampoo. The first thing I noticed was that it is not a spray shampoo, it is a powder formula, and comes out in poofs of 'smoke'. The packaging says: Hold bottle upright and squeeze a few powder 'poofs' of this lightly-fragranced, oil-absorbing powder near the scalp, apply as needed. Style as usual.
It smells floral but fresh at the same time.
I seriously cannot wait to try this out, I'm so excited! I'm going to the London Olympics tomorrow and am not back until Thursday so will probably be a good time to test it out as my hair won't be getting it's usual daily wash. Watch this space on this one...
Stila Oil Free Sheer Colour Tinted Moisturiser in Bare (Light 02) - RRP $34
I was so excited when I found this as most of the tinted moisturisers were in really dark colours but I dug around and managed to find this one in my colour. I've tried this on the back of my hand and it's quite a thick, creamy consistency, much like a BB cream. It seems to apply with little effort but I will be testing this out properly and will let you know what I think. A definite bargain at £1 though when it retails at $34!!
Aapri Exfoliating Facial Cleansing Pillows
I've tried these before and really liked them. They smell of apricots, which you'll already know if you're familiar with the Aapri brand. They are two sided; one side has exfoliating dots on and the other is smooth and moisturising. I really liked these the first time I used them and again, they will be really handy when I go away for a few days tomorrow.
Collection 2000 Skyscraper Length and Definition Waterproof Mascara
I have been loving Collection 2000 recently. I think for a budget drugstore brand, the quality of the products is amazing. I adore the Dazzle Me pigments and I use the Lasting Perfection concealer regularly as well. Actually, I bought the Lasting Perfection pressed powder recently as well. I'm building up quite a collection! So when I saw this I thought I'd give it a go. Poundland also had the non-waterproof version of this mascara, but I tend to go for the waterproof ones wherever possible. I'll let you know what I think of this when I've used it I have high hopes!
The wand is unusual as well, it's one of those rubbery type ones and is quite flexible. Also, at one side of the brush the bristles are long and the other short - can't wait to try it out!
Other than buying a few birthday cards, that's all I got today. I just can't believe what a bargain the Stila items were and I'm so happy I managed to pick them up. If you have a Poundland near you, I definitely recommend you check it out, they have so many good brands of products available - it's fab!
What's the biggest bargain you've ever got?
Like I mentioned above, I'm going to the Olympics tomorrow. We're going to see the Women's Wrestling and I'm so excited to be a part of such an amazing event. I'll try and take lots of photographs which I will upload when I get back.
Lotsa love

My Favourite Rimmel Lipsticks
Hi everyone!
I'm having a bit of a day of going through my make-up and beauty products and as I was looking through my lipsticks I realised just how many Rimmel ones I have and how much I love them, so thought I'd share my favourites.
I'm a big fan of neutral/pinky tones but I do like a splash of colour for a night out so my favourites are a mix of the wo.
I'm going to do it as a countdown to my ultimate favourite!! I hope the pictures do them justice. As a whole, they are so creamy and easy to apply and they last for a long time as well. I actually prefer them to some of the higher end brands. And they smell amazing as well which is a random added bonus.
Anyway, here goes...
7. Lasting Finish Lipstick in Coral in Gold
A gorgeous coral colour with gold flecks through it, so summery and just gorgeous.
6. Moisture Renew Lipstick in Diva Red
The ultimate in red lipsticks, yet really wearable. Looks quite dark in the tube but goes on as a true red - beautiful.
5. Lasting Finish Lipstick in Birthday Suit
A beige/brown neutral colour with a gold undertone, so pretty and easy to wear both as a night and day look
4. Lasting Finish Lipstick in Metallic Shimmer
A medium/deep brown with reflex that look silvery (but in a nice way!!). Quite a glossy lipstick, slightly glossier than a satin shade. Great for night wear.
3. Lasting Finish Lipstick in Drop of Sherry
A pinky/brown shade that is just to die for. Similar finish to the Metallic Shimmer but without the sparkly reflex.
2. Moisture Renew Lipstick in Sunset
A deep neutral/medium brown colour with gold reflex. Leaves a sparkle on your lips when it fades but not in an annoying glittery way, just looks lovely.
1. Lasting Finish Lipstick in Airy Fairy
This is my all time favourite lipstick, not just in the Rimmel line but over any lipstick I've ever worn! It's a dusky pink and it's just stunning. I wear it during the day or night and it's one of those lipsticks that you can grab and just shove on with whatever make-up you're wearing. I'm not far from being out of mine and I'm hoping that it's still available otherwise I will be very very upset! I urge you to try this lipstick if you haven't before.
So that's it! My favourite all time Rimmel lipsticks. I hope you enjoyed it, sorry about some of the pictures, for some reason they decided they'd rather be side on, I think you can still see the colours though so hope they're ok.
What's your favourite lipstick?
Lotsa love

Products I Regret Buying :o(
Hi everyone!
Hope you're all well.
So I was having a bit of a sort through of all my products and I came across quite a few that I have used maybe once and just really disliked and left at the back of my cupboard. I just don't have the heart to throw things away so they've just sat there ever since. Anyway, I thought I'd do a 'Products I Regret Buying' post to show you my collection of unloved products! Quite a few are tanning products as I have very fair skin and find it hard to find a good self-tanner.
I'll stop waffling now and get on with it!
Boots Botanics Soothing Eye Make-Up Remover
I have previously written a blog post on how much I love this product but I have done a complete 180 and I hate it! It's greasy and doesn't feel nice on the skin at all. If you put too much product on your cotton pad then you get grease all over the place, if you don't put enough on, then it dries out really quick and doesn't remover any make-up! I just really dislike it and definitely will not be using it or buying it again. I'm using Bioderma instead and it just feels so clean and fresh on the skin and is the complete opposite of this product!
Neutorgena Multi-Defence Night Moisturiser
I bought this on offer in Morrisons for about £1.50 (I think it's about £4 usually) and I just thought for that price I'd give it a go as I have heard good things about the Neutragena skin care range before. I slapped a good layer of this onto my face before bed and waited for good things to happen... and waited... and waited... It's not that this product is particularly bad, it didn't break me out or dry my skin or anything. It just didn't do anything, I felt like I hadn't put anything on my face and it was just a complete waste of time. It smells quite nice but that's about it. I was just very very underwhelmed by this product and I just have other products in my collection that seem to do a lot more.
The Body Shop Almond Milk Body Lotion
I bought this because I love Almond Milk and because it comes in a hand spray bottle which I thought would be good just to spray and rub in. However, the actual body lotion left that sticky feeling on my skin that I can't stand and it just doesn't seem to sink in very quickly. I hate creams that sit on your skin, I don't want to get out of the shower, put a body lotion on and feel like I need another shower! I like creams that sink in and leave my skin feeling soft and unfortunately, this product just didn't do that. I was so disappointed as well as I expected great things from this product :o(
Avon Skin So Soft Airbrush Spray Self-Tan
This is a gradual tanner that you are supposed to use every day. You just spray it on, rub in and away you go. Now, I did this every day for over a week and I didn't really get any browner, I did have some colour but not as much as I would have expected after using every day for a week. And it smells funny as well, yuk! I don't really have anything else to say about it, very disappointing.
The Body Shop Spa Wisdom Africa Spa Hand and Foot Butter
I suffer from quite dry hands and feet, especially in the winter time so I was looking for quite an intense moisturiser and this seemed to fit the bill. It contains honey and beeswax and smells amazing. But... it leaves that horrible sticky feeling that I hate. I especially hate it on my hands which is why I struggle to find a good hand cream. As much as I love this product, I end up washing it off my hands after it has been on a few minutes as I just can't stand the feeling it leaves. So disappointed as it really is a lovely product - and I think the packaging is fab as well!
Ambre Solaire Light Glow Dry Face Mist
As you can see, I bought two of these on offer in Wilkinson's for a pound each. I ran home excitedly to try them out and was very disappointed. I just don't get it - it goes everywhere and it doesn't really leave much colour on my face. If someone could explain to me the point of this, I would really appreciate it!! Until then, I'm afraid they're going to the back of the cupboard!!
TRESemme 24 Hour Body Sky High Plumping Powder
I bought this on the recommendation of another Beauty Blogger who absolutely loves this product and as I got it on BOGOF (I gave the other to a friend), I thought 'why not'. However, when I applied this to my hair it made it very sticky and 'thick' feeling. It just felt like there was a ton of product in my hair. It did add body which I guess is the whole point of it, but it just wasn't worth feeling like my hair needed a good wash. I've only used this product once and won't be using it again.
Xen-Tan Deep Bronze Luxe Weekly Self-Tan
I actually didn't buy this product, I got it in a Glossy Box a while ago. I was so excited to try this tan. It applied beautifully, smells gorgeous and I thought 'wow, I'm going to love this', so I waited patiently for the colour to appear and it just never did! And I'm fair and this is the darker version. I have no idea what happened but I was so so so disappointed. I'm so glad I didn't buy this as it is quite pricey and I would have been gutted (I guess that's the point of Glossy Box though!). I've only got a sample 30ml size of this but I won't be buying the full size.
Sun Kissed Sunlight Bronze Instant Self-Tanning Lotion
I know I shouldn't have expected a great deal from this as it is quite a low end brand, but after the success of St Moritz I thought I'd give it the benefit of the doubt. When I applied this, it went reasonably streaky but I thought when I rinsed the excess off in my morning shower, it would get rid of the streaks and leave a lovely glowing tan (as St Moritz does). However, when I had my morning shower, it rinsed off the whole tan, I was bright white again!! I guess it's an instant wash off tan, but if so, what's with the streaks??? I rubbed this tan in well and applied as evenly as I could and it still streaked! I do not like this product and will not be using it again - it's terrible! And it stinks but I can forgive that as most self-tans do!!
So that's all of the products I regret buying. I know that a lot of you will have used these and loved them but they just didn't work for me. I'm gutted as well cos I'd heard such good things about most of them and was so disappointed when they didn't work for me.
As a footnote, most of these products I have used only once and are pretty much brand new. If you would like to try and of them, by all means leave a comment below and (providing you're one of my followers - fairs fair!!), I'll post them to you.
Hope you enjoyed this post - what's the product that you regret buying the most?
Speak soon.
Lotsa love

Lotsa love
